I need some good luck

I need all of these things, a rabbit's foot, a lucky penny, a golden horse shoe, a four leaf clover and a wishing star.

I have a sick DS, the workmen are still in our building at work making a lot of noise and causing us all big headaches, I won't have a desk at work for another three weeks, we don't have internet access and email access is at best random, the solicitors have lost our mortgage papers for the house that DH and I have bought (are buying) and we may not be able to settle on Monday (thus causing us to have to pay interest to the other side until we do settle) and the vendors wouldn't let us in to paint two days early and therefore no painting will be done now until the later half of this year as my Dad is moving himself and will be very busy for the next few months as they also have to sell their house.

I picked a bad day to give up eating chocolate.....

But, as a very good friend of mine pointed out, chocolate makes your clothes shrink, so i'm having a cup of tea and then i'm off to bed.

Sorry I haven't been able to catch up on blogs lately (seriously - not having internet access at work is cutting into my social blogging life severely!!), I will get around to all of you very soon.

If anyone has any spare good Karma, please send a little tiny bit our way.

Bri

Poor Briony, that is a lot of "stuff" to contend with. I will send you all the good luck I can muster and will definitely keep everything crossed for you. Got to say that I love the little pictures you add to your posts. The couch potato really tickled me - very clever and certainly not you on Sunday. I must get that bloglines up and running. I hadn't long finished my post and there you were commenting!! I was trying to read everyones tonight but I got an interstate call and had a good natter instead. There's always tomorrow and I sure hope yours is a better one.

I'd be making the solicitors pay any interest!
Sending positive thoughts your way - but I doubt they'll make it out through the thick murk Wellington is currently enveloped in.

Bollocks!! That really stinks. But it's the Solicitors problem - not yours. Let them know that. Everything always works out, just remember that.

When one thing goes wrong isn't it crappy how it all turns. Trust me I am with you on this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying and the solicitors need to become responsible for their own damn mistakes and pay the interest not you

Sending lots of good things your way. Woah, that's a lot to contend with. It never rains, it pours, and this is true with good stuff as well as bad so I'm sure your luck will change soon. Give you little boy lots of cuddles for me, tell the nail gun man to shoot himself with it, and while he's at it, make him shoot the solicitors with it too. Bloody solicitors. I agree with the other gals - you should make THEM pay the interest.

Tea is much better than chocolate, and if you go to a specialty tea shop you can actually get tea that has little pieces of fudge in it, or that is chocolate flavoured, or sticky toffee pudding flavoured so that you can get a sweet fix without all the extra fat and stuff. Actually, I will send you some. Email me your address. This can be in lieu of the war cry (which is still coming, by the way). You can do it! Without the help of chocolate, I might add.

Go you.
