I don't think I could eat a capsicum, but carrots seem okay so far.
I outdid myself with exercise yesterday. I did 45 mins on the treadmill yesterday morning, an hour and a half putting the exercise bike together yesterday afternoon and then DS and I walked up to the supermarket in the afternoon to meet DH - it's a 4km walk and it was pretty hot yesterday so I was pretty red faced and sweaty once I got there.
I would like to do the same walk again this afternoon and I have to go to the shops this morning. I'm going away tomorrow for one night to Avoca. I'll be spending time with my Dad and his family so even though it will be a little stressful, DS and I have our own room so we can always escape. I'll take my new book to read ('Feel' - it's about Robbie Williams) and go for lots of walks.
So I won't be back blogging until Friday. Take care of yourselves and i'll talk to you then!

You rock Bri, all that exercise and you are on holidays. And love the carrot sidea because yes we miss thecrunching and chewing. Have awonderful break at Avoca and let everyone mind LAchie so you can rest up a little bit..or go for a nice longgggg walk..hehe
Hope you have a rad rad time. Re: the veggies - you could always have some low fat dip or fat free salsa with them to make them even yummier.
Hope you have a wonderful time, and I agree with Michelle - palm that gorgeous boy of yours off to anyone who will have him so that you can have a break. It doesn't seem to happen very often! Enjoy yourself.
Ha ha, I have that Robbie book too!! So far it is just a decoration on my bookshelf though - haven't read it yet and it was a gift LAST christmas!!!!
I'm into the carrot thing at the moment, although only one or two a day. A guy at work brings in a whole bag most days and munches on them all day. When I forget to bring my own, I usually go and help myself to his, lol.
Well done on all that exercise, and hope the visit with your dad goes well.
Wow that was a huge exercise day, you sure had energy to burn - must be all those carrots!!! I found the book fascinating, I read it in the holidays so I was able to really get into it. I found it fascinating but what really struck me was how removed from normal life he was. He really seemed quite crazy but I think that most people that are that talented are usually a bit "different". It was after reading that book that I decided that if he didn't actually come to Adelaide I didn't want to risk paying to go interstate cos he was just as likely to cancel at the last minute!!! Hope you enjoy the rest of the book and everything goes OK with your visit to your Dad.
Mmmm too many fascinatings in the above post, mmmm must be too many wines before tea!!!
I have seen an "orange" person - who eats way too many carrots! It looks really freaky. She looks like an oompa loompa. She worked in a health food shop, and she is/was one of my clients. Her whole body had a real orange tinge. But from what I can gather - she ate a HUGE amount of carrots every day. I hear that celery is a negative calorie food (ie: it takes more energy to eat it than calories consumed!). So you could have a mixture of carrots & celery sticks. Just hold on the tzatiki dip :-)
I love vegie sticks but someone suggested I have broccoli too. I didn't like that raw so much. Good going with all the exercise!
